PROJECT 08

Working with a Product Manager on the business goals of PDF Reporting, I was tasked with transitioning RateWatch’s product report format into S&P Global’s format — making sure the new reports worked for all varying users.

Merging

2 COMPANIES

Integrating two company’s different platforms into one is no easy task. First and foremost, it’s essential that any transition is smooth for each business’s clients. To ensure a seamless transition, I was first tasked with fine-tuning S&P Global’s PDF reporting before migrating RateWatch clients into the new platform. To do this, the report needed to be both visually appealing and user-friendly — making sure that each company’s clients could easily follow and understand their respective reports. Working with S&P Global’s Product manager, we created user flows and laid out all of the business objectives to ensure we were capturing all of the right business needs for varying users.

Ranking Report Before_Page_1.jpg

Before

S&P Global's original design didn’t allow for the maximum products to a page. There were also spacial issues which made it difficult to read or even know which category you were viewing.

After

Building off the strengths I originally helped establish for Ratewatch’s reports, I was able to implement a cleaner and simpler design which was more cohesive to the current S&P platform — and in a more user-friendly PDF format.
